Managing your work on your behalf
We offer a high quality 'turn-key' project management service to homeowners undertaking a refurbishment project on their property. Our in-house experts can take you through the whole process - from initial analysis, specification, and planning, through to getting quotes and choosing contractors, installation, site management and quality assurance.
For those embarking on a larger eco-renovation we can help it all run smoothly. From assisting with specifications, planning permission and building control to tendering, on site management and quality assurance, this product is designed to be tailored to your needs and be cost effective. We can work alongside your Architect and builders and yourself to help you get the most out of your home upgrade.
What does it include?
Some or all of the following can be included depending on your specific needs:
- Evaluation of Options (initially and ongoing)
- Specifications and Detailing
- Assisting with Planning Applications and Building Control
- Tendering
- Contractor and Sub-Contractor Managment
- Site visits and Quality Assurance (including testing)
- Post Completion Evaluation
How much does it cost?
The price, as well as the billing structure, will depend on the nature of the work and your specific needs. As a guideline for your budgeting purposes it will most likely be from 10% of the overall build cost but depends on the project size.
Any job size?
The upfront costs associated with project management mean that we only quote for pieces of work that are in excess of £60,000.
For small works we are available for ad hoc consultancy at a rate of £80 and hour. We've also recommend a Masterplan for small works as you may find there are lots of other things you could be doing concurrently. In cases where we have conducted a masterplan of the property and are then engaged as project managers we deduct the cost of the masterplan from the final invoice.
